Making POS/POSM Materials: Materials, Lead Times and Technologies
From Layout to Print Run: 2-7 Working Days
The standard POS/POSM production cycle at our Tashkent facility takes from 2 to 7 working days. Simple items (wobblers, price tag holders, shelf talkers) come off the press in 2-3 days. Three-dimensional structures made of micro-flute board and PVC (floor displays, pallet skirts, promo stands) take 5-7 days, including milling, gluing and assembly.
Lead time depends directly on the run size and the type of post-print finishing. A batch of 5 000 wobblers with offset printing and die-cutting is ready in 3 days. A run of 500 acrylic table tents with UV printing and bending takes 4-5 days. We fix the lead time in the specification before the start, so that you can plan the promo launch without date shifts.
We accept artwork in PDF, AI and CDR formats with 2-3 mm bleeds and a CMYK color profile. If there is no ready design, we lay it out following the FMCG brand's brand book or the chain's guidelines.
Print Runs from 100 to 50 000 Pieces on the Same Equipment
Run sizes range from 100 to 50 000 pcs per launch. Small batches of up to 500 pcs are printed digitally and by UV with no tooling costs, which makes trial and test placements at 10-20 retail points affordable. Runs from 3 000 pcs move to offset: the unit cost falls 2-4 times compared with digital.
For retail chains distributing to 50-200 stores, we produce the kit with uniform color reproduction across the whole run. We control cardboard density (300-450 g/m²), PVC gauge (3, 4, 5 mm) and acrylic thickness (2-8 mm) for every batch, so that a stand from the first hundred does not differ from the last.

Materials for a Service Life from 2 Weeks to 3 Years
The lifespan of a POS item is determined by its material and installation site. Promo structures made of micro-flute board are designed for a 2-8 week campaign: these are displays, pallet skirts and cardboard standees. Long-life POSM for permanent merchandising are made from PVC 3-5 mm, PET and acrylic: such table tents, menu holders and branded shelves last from 1 to 3 years.
Cardboard and micro-flute board are lightweight, take full-color printing over the whole area and suit fast rotation. PVC keeps its shape and withstands wet cleaning and temperature swings in the checkout zone. Acrylic and PET give transparency and gloss for the premium segment: cosmetics, alcohol, electronics.
For outdoor placement and fuel stations we use UV-resistant inks and lamination that protects the image from fading in Tashkent's climate, with summer highs of +40 °C.
Three Printing Methods for the Task and Run Size
We use offset, UV printing and screen printing; the choice depends on the material, the run size and the durability required of the image. Offset covers large runs on cardboard with accurate Pantone color reproduction. UV printing goes onto PVC, acrylic and PET and allows printing directly on a rigid sheet without mounting. Screen printing gives a dense covering layer and withstands abrasion on high-contact items such as cart handles and branded trays.
Post-print finishing matters just as much for the final look. We offer die-cutting with a custom die, CNC milling, creasing, matte or gloss lamination, assembly and attachment of magnets, 3M tape, Velcro and foot stands.
